Since high school I have zigzagged through life: married, have two children, lived in NJ, divorced, and now live on the Upper Westside of New York City.
I backpacked in Nepal and Thailand, lived in Brazil for a year, and biked through Tuscany. (My standard line about that: do you know it's uphill both ways?) I’ve had a number of careers and am on my third one, teaching writing and ESL in colleges in the NY area, finally doing something I really care about. I started in publishing, ended up on the business side, and went on to technology sales so I could afford to buy the books I liked to read.
I always wanted to play the piano and finally took it up several years ago. Carnegie Hall is not in my future except as a spectator, but I am having fun, nonetheless. Hope my neighbors are too! I enjoy classical music and regular exercise -- tennis in Central Park, spinning, and gym workouts.
