Greetings Classmates!

I am looking forward to seeing y'all again and hearing your stories, or reading about them here. I was breezing through the registration until I got to this page. After 50 years, what does one say? Well, I want to hear your stories, so I'll share mine now.

Graduation. College and a degree in Psychology and English. First job at a psychiatric hospital in DC as a recreation and leisure counselor. Several years later, I found myself drawn to the new discipline of Tourism. At the time GW was offering a masters program so I decided to take advantage of it. I hadn't anticipated leaving Washington until I reached my graduate internship and found Hilton Head.

In Hilton Head I found a place I could call home and people who were enthusiastic about creating a welcoming resort town. One of my professors in grad school connected my career path when he reminded me that all I'd ever done or intended to do revolved around counselling other people. I'm still counselling and have been since 1981, just this time as a Realtor. I feel very privileged to live here and to share my home by helping people find their piece of this paradise I call home.
