Hello Tigers. I left DC behind in 1966 and the East Coast behind eight years later, migrating to Sonoma County, CA. Became a whitewater rafting guide and met my wife on the Green River in Utah in 1978. Shari and I have raised three children and live on two acres in the redwoods with two dogs, three cats, two goats and two miniature donkeys. Learned journalism from Dr. Boyle and never left the profession. I've been a staff writer for the Santa Rosa Press Democrat since 1989. I'm intrigued, and a bit terrified, to see what we all look like 50 years later.
